GARCINIA CAMBOGIA REVIEW | EPISODE #26 SUPPLEMENT SATURDAY

VIP NEWSLETTER ➤➤ A CLIENT ➤➤ SERIES ➤➤ you've been living under a rock, you've no doubt heard about - and maybe even tried - garcinia cambogia. This supplement's garnered a ton of attention for its purported ability to curb cravings, increase fat burning, and promote overall weight loss. But does it really work?

Garcinia cambogia is extracted from a tropical fruit that goes by the same name (and which is also known as the Malabar tamarind). Traditionally used to add sour flavoring to foods, garcinia cambogia has become a popular staple on talk shows, in magazines, and on the internet for its asserted weight loss properties.

The skin of the garcinia cambogia fruit contains a large amount of the natural, biologically active substance hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Many studies have indicated that HCA does help regulate appetite and support weight loss, The effects, however, are relatively marginal.

On average, taking garcinia cambogia has been found to increase weight loss by 2 pounds over the course of several weeks - not much in the long run. It also has been found to have been positive benefits for individuals with type 2 diabetes by helping to reduce cholesterol.

Although garcinia cambogia is definitely NOT the miracle supplement marketers make it out to be, it's not a complete waste of money. The right dosage will depend on your metabolism and body weight, but anywhere from 500 to 1,500 mg per day is the standard amount and completely safe. When combined with a solid nutrition and training program, garcinia cambogia may be worth a try.
